We missed the great snow storm that shut down northeast New Mexico.
Actually, I didn’t miss it because I was having a lovely time in the Bahamas (insert devilish smile here). What I mean is that we were not home to witness the blizzard that made national news (http://on.msnbc.com/tz6jmJ).
We arrived home to lots of snow drifted up behind the trucks.
Thankfully, one of the neighboring cowboys and his dog were out in the skid loader and able to scoop out the four-foot-high by 10-foot-deep snow drift.
We’re settled in just in time for storm number two in a weeks time. It’s 26 degrees, the snow is blowing and the guys are out busting drifts hoping for no more stuck trucks.

All I can say is WOW. It was 70 degrees here yesterday. I can’t imagine having to deal with that much snow. Looks like that loader-thing is just the ticket, though. Merry Christmas!
We just keep reminding ourselves that snow equals green, green grass! We sure need it for the cattle in the spring.
Oh if ONLY! If only we could start getting that kind of snow. It’s so over due here. {sigh} I enjoyed all your pictures though – thanks

I can’t believe it keeps missing you!
It is sooo not fair
Like me having a hissy will help right?!

Looks like the weather we should have here in Minnesota. But instead, we had 40-degree temps on Christmas Day and NO snow. Loved it.
