I was looking through the photos I’ve taken over the years at the ranch.
So many, while not the subject of the photos, feature Capulin Volcano, the most perfectly shaped cinder cone volcano in the world and the backdrop of my life.

I love this! Sometimes we don’t even see those backdrops, but it’s nice to see this series. You live in one of my favorite parts of the state.
An interesting series of images. I especially like the horse rider shadow pic for its artistic qualities. How close is your home to the volcano?
That is so neat! I was enjoying the photos and almost forget about looking for the volcano! Great you have so many photos with it in the background.
So beautiful – and I think that wee pinto foal is my favorite

The backdrop of your life…how neat is that? Hmmmm, I think there is some symbolism there. It’s a lot to live up to, but I know you are up to the task.
PS. Want to run the http://www.capulinvolcanorun.com with me?
Oh Jeez. I don’t know if I have it in me to do the run. But, we should talk about it, for sure!
