The wind: it blows

Wind, tumbleweeds, dull skies and barbed wire. That about sums it up for this week!

Check out other Friday Fences.

  1. Tumble weeds. After a big wind, they’d plug up the fence lines blocking the ability to see inside the fields and pastures as you drove past them. My dad would make us boys walk the line tossing them over the fence so they could continue their tumbling journey elsewhere.

  2. I remember seeing tumbleweeds when we traveled across the West.
My family always called the wire bob wire. I wondered why I couldn’t find it in the dictionary!

  3. This is my idea of perfect weather. Know others don’t think that way. I see someone else can’t resist a possible sunflare? Me either. We must watch out for our eyesight. . .
