This would be a lovely entry for Friday Fences (http://lifeaccordingtojanandjer.blogspot.com).
The wind has been so strong this week. Now that it’s calming down, it feels as if we have all relaxed!
Tumble weeds. After a big wind, they’d plug up the fence lines blocking the ability to see inside the fields and pastures as you drove past them. My dad would make us boys walk the line tossing them over the fence so they could continue their tumbling journey elsewhere.
I remember seeing tumbleweeds when we traveled across the West.
My family always called the wire bob wire. I wondered why I couldn’t find it in the dictionary!
This is my idea of perfect weather. Know others don’t think that way. I see someone else can’t resist a possible sunflare? Me either. We must watch out for our eyesight. . .
I am glad the wind is warm, at least. But, I sure dislike walking to the mailbox and getting dirt in my hair and ears! Luckily, we had a nice, warm and low-wind weekend!

You bet! I just posted it on Friday Fences.
I noticed the wind was not blowing last night. I hope it’s a good sign for today!

Yep! It seems like clearing out the fences never ends!
Sending you some sunshine from Virginia! We have plenty today – and highs in the 80’s!

The same day I cursed the wind we had a perfect, mid-70s, no wind day! I know the winter is not over yet but we’re going to enjoy it while we have it!

Wow, thank you!
Beautiful shot of the tree, fenceline, and the sun flare.
Well, it took about 30 shots to get one decent one. I’m learning!
Nice shot…great composition
Thanks for that! I need to look up composition and understand it a little better!
